Espresso Sunshine
On a gloomy day what can make a sunny one? Would you like a cappicino, latte, or make your own inspiration?
Among the winter and colder weather up here in the north, I have already used my lattee/espresso maker frequently. One evening I decided to go a little further.
I went out to buy some java blend ice cream and started to bring my moment of sunshine into reality.
Here is what I created for 2 people.
Fill the espresso/latte maker with four cups of water.
Measure out espresso to four servings on the espresso cup.
Brew the espresso according to your espresso maker
Fill a small mug halfway with chocolate soymilk and froth the milk while brewing the espresso.
I bought 2 pints of Java Mash ice cream.
After the chocolate soymilk is frothed, pour half of it into each tall glass.
Pour in half the espresso in each glass.
Dip out a pint of Java Mash ice cream (Edy’s) into each tall glass.
Top with whipped cream and refrigerate to cool.
Watching television and seeing drinks that are served at various restaurants tempts me, but I do not need to suffer. I can make the same thing and perhaps since I make it myself it will be even better. Coffee by itself may not be “dull” to some people, but I like to bring it alive. Other things I like to do with my coffee is to put cinnamon sticks in the caraffe while the brewing cycle is active. Another better way for people to enjoy their coffee is to put real chocolate syrup in the mug before pouring the coffee.
In addition, chocolate syrup can be added to the above espresso moment I shared with you all.
Smile and share a sunny coffee moment with someone today.
I love to cook, read, watch tennis, golf, and skating.
