Indeed you can. You can mix it while soft then freeze it up again.
OR! Just put a few scoops of chocolate ice cream in a bowl, and add a few spoonfuls of peanut butter! It’s faster and just as tastey!

Heat up the desired amount of peanut butter in the microwave for a few seconds, then scoop it on top like you would hot fudge. It is perfect!

my favorite ice cream from coldstone creamery is the one where they mix peanut butter in with the rest of the toppings. it is very good, with little ripples of peanut butter, in every bite! mmmmmmm….. give it a try, even if its not exactly what you were thinking of, you’ll have a tasty result.

well, that could work.
but if you want the peanut butter to go throughout the ice cream, melt it a bit before you add it to the ice cream.
dont forget to add the peanut butter cup chunks.
chocolate syrup tastes reaaaaal good with peanutbutter cup icecream =]

Try putting unsalted shelled nuts in a blender. Pulse a few seconds to crush them to a dusty texture and then sprinkle over your fresh scoops of ice cream. Less work and great chocolate-pea-nutty taste
